FAQs

Is the vehicle itself the learning studio?

Yes! Soundwaves Mobile music is a traveling teaching studio that provides 1 on 1 music lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, clarinet, songwriting, and music learning/music career coaching. Students enter the mobile unit for their lesson. There is a lot of space to stand, create, learn and teach. The studio is equipped with power, heat, AC, a computer, recording software, a full 88-key, weighted piano, and more. It’s a clean, inspiring, safe space.

Can I watch the lesson inside my home while my child is inside?

Access to internal cameras can be arranged. Audio is not shared, as this can disrupt the learning process. Families are welcome to be present for lessons inside the unit if they wish.

I don’t have space for the vehicle in my driveway. Where else can you meet me?

Why not have the lessons inside the home?

Learning music requires a focused environment. Often times, there is life happening inside the home that can be distracting. Also, students don’t feel as comfortable truly expressing themselves around family and friends, while learning.
